Department for Legal Issue
Organization: department operates inside of the Sector for legal, personnel and general issues including:
- Department for personnel and general issues
- Department for legal defense
- Library of the Medical Center
Within the Department for legal issues following work places have been systemized:
- Head of the Department for legal issues
- Legal officer for normative activity
- Legal officer
- Secretary of the Medical Center
- Administrative clerk
A special position is reserved for the patient rights defender (patient lawyer), who answers directly to the Director of the Medical Center. Currently on that position is working attorney at law Anđa Todorović.
Short list of activities:
• preparing and developing contracts for the Medical Center
• performing legal prevention activities and representing the Medical Center
• submission of complaints and other solutions in all proceedings
• performing all activities involving registration in the Court register as well as all changes in the activity of the Medical Center
• conducting the previous proceeding involving work obligations of the employed and giving legal advice to legal organs authorized for conducting disciplinary proceedings
• bringing up charges to the specific courts in order to collect payment of debt and conduct proceedings until the debt is collected
• keeping records for all the apartments assigned to the Medical Center and helping the work of the Commission for the distribution of apartments as well as keeping records of apartment and building credits and also recording all real estate change and insuring rightful legal proceedings involving such credits.
• making of pre-drafts, drafts and proposals of General actions
• completing proposals and objections on General actions
• composition of reports involving completed and adopted General actions
• giving legal advice in conducting General actions
Number and structure of employees: 3 attorneys at law, 1 college educated worker, typist
Work hours: from 6.30 a.m. to 2.15 p.m. and Saturdays from 7.00 a.m. to 12 p.m.
